The 6th Symposium on Environmental Instrumentation and Measurements will
take place at Reggio Calabria, Italy. Archaeological discoveries and historic sites
in soil and subsoil can be considered as part of environment, so under the slogan
“Measurement for the endorsement of the subsoil and historical evidences”
researchers from all over the world will get together to discuss about innovations
and improvements on environmental data acquisition, monitoring and analysis.
In
addition, the latest evolutions in the pollution of air and water or the global
warming challenge scientists to work on new methods to be able to detect and
react to the current conditions are welcome. Authors are invited to submit a full
manuscript (4-6 pages including references) for oral or poster presentation.
Expanded and improved papers of the version published in the symposium
proceedings are eligible for post-publication in international reputed journals
(Measurement - Elsevier, ACTA Imeko, International Journal of Measurement
Technologies and Instrumentation Engineering) and book series.
Topics:
Analytical measurements of the three main environmental media: water and/or liquids, air
and/or gases, soil and/or solids.
Analytical measurements of other environmental matrices dealing with issues such as human,
plant, animal and synthetic products.
Instrumental methods for the measurement of environmental noise and vibration pollution
Development and improvement of analytical methods for measuring environmental pollutants
Development of new analytical methods, sensors and instruments for monitoring of air, waterand soil quality in residential, industrial, as well as, agricultural areas
